As a family run business we respect the fact that our children's future is our responsibility. We have also undertaken this responsibility in our work ethic and try to implement a consistent strategy with regard to the sourcing of our landscaping and driveway materials, and the disposal of waste product and packaging at the end of each project that we undertake, trying as best we can to stick to the following rules:

• Only use suppliers with a clear sustainability policy and ethical fairtrade commitment
• Where possible, source materials from the nearest builders merchant to the job
• Try to use locally manufactured and sourced materials whenever possible
• Actively promote the use of recycled wood and plastics wherever possible
• Recommend free-draining permeable paving & spacers for block paved driveways

As we move forward into this new age of environmental responsibility, we feel it is important that the issues of sustainable landscaping materials, recycling of existing materials, the reduction of harmful chemicals in the construction process by not using cheap materials,and the reduction in the materials transportational carbon footprint by sourcing as locally as possible is worth the effort and the small increase in overall material costs, and that is why we will always recommend the most environmentally friendly landscaping and permeable driveway solutions to our customers.

We ensure that all imported materials abide by the ETI base code for fairtrade, bound by a set of 9 international rules...		We are committed to only using timber from known, legal and certified sources and only use merchant's who can guarantee the supply chain.		We aim to recycle our trade waste as much as possible and also try and use recycled materials in new projects if they are available.
